What should you expect during your consultation?
Rapport with patients comes naturally to Dr. Churukian. He realizes that good communication with his patients is as important as his skills in achieving a successful surgical outcome. He encourages his patients to openly discuss the changes they would like to see in their appearance and thoroughly explains what cosmetic surgery can and cannot do for them.
Where does Dr. Churukian perform cosmetic surgery?
Cosmetic surgery is typically performed at Dr. Churukian's new, state-certified AAAASF, state-of-the-art surgical suite conveniently located in his office. He also enjoys privileges at all nearby major accredited hospitals.
What questions should you ask during the consultation?

- What surgical technique will be used?
- How long will the procedure take?
- Will any discomfort be involved?
- What type of pain management is offered?
- What are the risks and complications?
- What accredited facility will be used for the surgery?
- What type of anesthesia will be administered?

- What type of follow-up care will be available after the surgery?
- Are there any before-and-after photographs of patients who have had similar surgeries?
These are just a few of the questions Dr. Churukian addresses during a consultation. With more than 20 years of surgical training and experience, he ensures that each and every patient has the proper education and guidance necessary to make an informed decision on enhancing their appearance.
What is our consultation policy?
Through your research, you will find that not all cosmetic surgery consultations are alike. In some cases, you may only meet with the patient care coordinator or see the surgeon for as little as 10 minutes. At our office, we dedicate an hour or more to you in order to well educate you on your chosen procedure. Dr. Churukian feels this time together is crucial in forming the doctor-patient relationship necessary for you to move forward with confidence. The fee for this comprehensive consultation is $95. When you call for an appointment, you will be asked to guarantee your appointment with a valid credit card. If it becomes necessary for you to reschedule your appointment, we greatly appreciate your courtesy and ask that you respect our time by providing us with a 48-hour advance notice of cancellation to avoid incurring any charges.
Surgery Payment Options
In compliance with the suggestions adopted by the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Inc., full payment is required in advance of your scheduled surgery date and most often can be made using your MasterCard, Visa, Discover, cashier's check and/or cash.
When you schedule your surgery with Dr. Churukian, a $500 deposit will be required to hold your surgery date. Any balance due Dr. Churukian, will be collected at your preoperative appointment, typically scheduled two weeks prior to your surgery.
Group Anesthesia typically accept, Visa, MasterCard, cashier's checks and/or cash. The anesthesiologist typically accepts cashier's checks and/or cash. No personal checks are ever accepted.
Our patient care coordinator will gladly discuss our surgery fees with you during your consultation appointment.
